🚀 Create server on Sparked HostHow to Use the Fuel and Smelting Calculator
Choose the furnace type — Standard Furnace (1× speed, smelts any item), Blast Furnace (2× speed, ores and metals only), or Smoker (2× speed, food items only). Then select the item to smelt, the quantity, and how many parallel furnaces you will use, then choose your fuel.
The "Operating Furnace" section shows how much fuel is required, total time, XP gained, and production rate. Use the "Fuel Comparison" and the "Full Fuel Table" to pick the most space-efficient fuel for your inventory.
Are Blast Furnaces and Smokers Always Faster?
No — each only speeds up its specific category. The Blast Furnace smelts ores and metals 2× faster, and the Smoker smelts food items 2× faster. For any other item (glass, stone, charcoal, brick, cactus green dye), both operate at the exact same speed as a standard furnace.
